Terms of use
Effective September 1, 2026. By using API Foundry, you agree to these terms.
Evolving service
API Foundry is a versioned Forge Lab. Endpoints, schemas, dataset coverage, release history, limits, and availability may change under the documented versioning policy. The service is provided as available without a service-level agreement or warranty of uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or current operation.
Accounts, keys, and limits
You are responsible for keeping API keys confidential and for activity performed with them. Do not publish a key in client-side code or public repositories. Follow the documented rate and credit limits. Keys or accounts may be revoked or suspended for security, abuse, nonpayment after billing is enabled, or violation of these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not evade quotas, scrape the service outside its documented API, attack or disrupt infrastructure, probe other accounts, use data unlawfully, misrepresent source-backed data, or use the service to harm people. Automated usage must respect both API Foundry limits and applicable source restrictions.
Data sources and licenses
Public availability does not eliminate source rights. Each response and dataset release may depend on third-party or government data with separate attribution, commercial-use, and redistribution terms. Access through API Foundry does not grant rights beyond those terms. Bulk redistribution and resale require separate written clearance where the source registry says review is required.
Changes, suspension, and liability
Datasets may be corrected, deprecated, paused, or rolled back when a source changes or quality checks fail. To the extent allowed by law, API Foundry and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, lost-profit, or lost-data damages arising from this service.
Billing
No public paid plan or automatic overage billing is active today. Pricing, refunds, renewal, cancellation, tax, and payment-provider terms will be added before Stripe billing opens.
